My Thai Friendly dating app story how I lost money, Bangkok Criminal Lawyer, Police Statement in Bangkok

After I went through a hard time in Bangkok, I started to lose trust in the police, in fairness, and in good lawyers in both Cambodia and Thailand. It began when I talked to Sandy on a social dating app called THAI FRIENDLY. Sandy liked to talk and was nice to be around, but she was not really the dream person I had in my mind. We often met at my condo in Samut Prakan, and I liked those times. As more time went by, I started to think about us being together one day, if she would be ready to change.

One day, Sandy went to me feeling upset. She said that three men had taken over her apartment by force. This left her feeling scared, and she could not get help from the police because it was private property. She explained that Thai Police won't help her and Police in Thailand is different that in Europe. I thought about asking her to stay with me, but I did not do it, because of what happened in the past. Instead, Sandy asked if I could lend her 10,000 THB so she could get a new place to live. She promised that she would pay me back.

Her story made me think of a time in Siem Reap, Cambodia. There, people said women were made to take guns into Pattaya and Bangkok, Thailand. They were forced to do it. When I asked Sandy if she was in the same spot, she did not answer me. This made me feel there was more going on. After that, Sandy sent me messages. She told me she went to the Chon Buri university with her sister. This made me feel there could be something she was not telling me the whole way.

I went to the police to talk about what happened, but they just wrote down what I said. They did not do anything about it. So, I got help from an English-speaking lawyer in Bangkok. I thought things would get better because she spoke English as her first language. I paid her 8,000 THB to help. Even with that, the lawyer could not get a statement from the police, since the officer was not there when we tried to meet. After, she told me I should pay again if I wanted to keep going with the case.

I lost 10,000 THB to Sandy and 8,000 THB to legal fees. I still have no answers or solution. This made me wonder if I was tricked or just not careful. It also showed me how hard it can be for people from other countries to understand and work with the law in Thailand and Cambodia. In these places, finding fairness can feel out of reach.

When I think about where justice is in these places, I am left with a lesson that trust is not always easy. Dealing with people from different backgrounds can also be tricky.

Do you have the same problem in Thailand and Cambodia, local people scam you on money and police with lawyers do not want to help you? They just want more money from you and repeat “I won't be to work for free for you” or “we don't care about those people”. Interpol forgot about small case where 10000 THB missing.

My advice is Thailand and Cambodia : do not help for Thai and Kmer people in need — possible they are in big SCAM NETWORK that target you.

You won't believe me, but they some of they are part of the most SCAM professional network in the world history…

They have a few scenarios that they try to extract all your money and real state with fake documents, fake photography and fake witness statement with your photocopy signature.

Question for Interpol agents: if local police and lawyers of not want to hep where to report it?
