After the earthquake in Bangkok, Thailand on March 28th, 2025, I decided to leave both Thailand and Asia. The fear of dying in another earthquake pushed me to seek safety elsewhere, so I chose to travel with my ex-girlfriend to Africa and South America—places far from seismic zones. Before flying out from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, I took a photo of my parked Mitsubishi car in the private parking lot of the Aspire Erawan Prime condominium. When I returned to Bangkok from Singapore, I went to the condominium’s private parking lot and discovered that my car was gone. I reported the incident to the police in Samut Prakan, but the officer told me I needed to provide CCTV footage showing who drove the car out of the parking area.
